Saturday 13th October saw the return of Poccer to Birmingham.  With 5 regular teams and 4 brand new ones, Poccer 3 was yet again set up to be a very competitive affair.

 

The Pot were in confident mood with their best team yet, event 1 winners the Banana Dwarves were also reinforced and the Angels of Helsby were determined to make amends for a poor show last time.

 

All newcomers have done well and this time four new teams were hoping to continue the trend of a new team always winning.

 

Once again it proved to be an extremely enjoyable affair, without exception the day was enjoyed by one and all.  Poccer is getting better and better!

 

At the third time of asking, the Angels of Helsby won their first Poccer tournament.  A 3rd in event 1 and 6th in event 2 was their previous form, but there would be no mistaking the winners this time around.

 

The Angels became the first team to be winning after the football stage and then go on to win the overall event.  Inthebelly were 3rd

in Poccer 2 after winning the football element.

 

No-one could cope with the Angels in the football this time.  In Poccer 2 the Angels failed to make it out of the group stage, no such problem this time, as they remained unbeaten throughout.

 

Whilst the event remained between a number of teams for the majority of the tournament.  The Angels turned it on at the end, with 3 of their players making the top six, with Dave Duncan star performer in 2nd place.
